These terms apply to the PepLevel app and peplevel.com, provided by David Dempsey ("I", "me"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. Please read the medical section carefully.

1. What PepLevel is, and is not

PepLevel is a personal logging and reminder tool. It helps you record the medication your prescriber or clinician has given you, remember when to take it, and see your own records.

PepLevel is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. It never recommends, calculates or adjusts what dose you should take. Titration plans, schedules and amounts in the app are entered by you from your prescriber's instructions.

Medication level curves are illustrative estimates based on published half-lives and the doses you logged. They are not measurements of the amount of drug in your body.
Volume, syringe unit and pen click figures convert an amount you already entered, using container details you entered. Always check them against your prescriber's instructions and the product's own markings before injecting.
Reminders depend on your device's notification settings, battery, and iOS. Do not rely on the app as your only way to remember a dose.
Compound information shows label-style facts only. It is not guidance on whether or how to use anything.

Always follow your prescriber's advice. If you are unsure about a dose, a missed dose or a symptom, contact your prescriber, pharmacist, GP or NHS 111. In an emergency, call 999 or your local emergency number.

2. Your data

Your records are stored on your device and in your own iCloud, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your device and Apple Account secure and for keeping your own backups or exports.

3. Pro, subscriptions and the lifetime purchase

The free version tracks one medication. PepLevel Pro adds the features listed in the app, including unlimited medications.
Pro is offered monthly, annually or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.
The annual plan may include a free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings.
Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
Features included in the free version will not later be moved into Pro.

4. Acceptable use

You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial record keeping. Do not reverse engineer it, misuse it, or use it to break any law. The app does not sell, source or link to any medication or substance.

5. Intellectual property

The app, its design, text and code belong to me. Medication brand names such as Mounjaro, Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound, Saxenda and Rybelsus are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe what the app can track. PepLevel is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly or any pharmaceutical company.

6. Apple's standard terms

The app is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.

7. Availability and changes

I aim to keep the app working and your data safe, but I cannot guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. Features may change over time. I may update these terms; the date above will change when I do.

8. Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including decisions made about medication, missed reminders or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep any mandatory protections of your local law.
