What is worth tracking on a weight loss jab
Most people start with a calendar alert and a note on their phone. It works for the first month. Then the dose steps up, a pen runs out on a bank holiday weekend, and nobody can remember whether last Thursday's jab went in the left or right side of the tummy. These are the things that actually matter week to week:

Why jab day is easy to get wrong
A weekly injection is the easiest schedule to forget, because it has no daily rhythm to hang on. The rules for a missed dose also differ by medicine. The NHS says that for tirzepatide (Mounjaro) you can take a missed injection if it is 4 days or less late, and otherwise skip it. For semaglutide (Wegovy) the window is 5 days. Saxenda is a daily injection, and its leaflet says to skip a dose if more than 12 hours have passed. None of this helps if you cannot say for certain when your last jab went in. Why a notes app or generic pill reminder falls short
- A notes app only knows what you type. It cannot remind you, count your steps or warn you about supply.
- A generic medication reminder thinks in pills. It has no idea about injection sites, dose steps, pens or weight.
- A spreadsheet needs a laptop. Jab day happens in the bathroom at 8 pm, not at a desk.

The UK Mounjaro KwikPen holds four doses, according to its leaflet, so a pen lasts about a month on a weekly schedule. Private prescriptions can take several days to arrive, and a step up in dose usually means a new strength of pen. How PepLevel handles it
