What to tell your doctor at your Mounjaro review
Short answer: bring facts, not impressions. The five things prescribers actually want to know
- Your dose history. Which doses you took, on which days, at which strength, and whether any were missed or late. This is the basis for every titration decision.
- Your weight trend. The direction and pace over the whole period since the last review, as well as today's number. A trend over weeks says far more than a single reading.
- Side effects and their timing. "Some nausea" is hard to act on. "Nausea 1 to 2 days after each injection, easing by day 4, worse since moving to 5 mg" is genuinely useful, because timing against the dose is what tells the story.
- How the current dose feels. Appetite suppression through the week, whether hunger returns before jab day, energy, and anything that has changed since the dose last went up.
- Your questions, written down. When the next step-up is planned, what to do about persistent side effects, holidays and travel, and anything about supply.
