A peptide schedule app with reminders that follow your actual protocol

Guide - peptide reminders, logging and the weekly view

Short answer: PepLevel is a peptide schedule app for iPhone that reminds you on the schedule you enter, whether that is every N days, every N hours, set weekdays or a block of days on and off, with several reminder times a day if you need them. You can log the dose straight from the notification, and a week grid shows every compound's taken, due and rest days at once. The free version handles one compound. It is coming soon to the App Store.

Why phone alarms stop working

A repeating alarm is fine for one thing on one day of the week. Peptide schedules rarely look like that. The usual failure points:

  • "Every 3 days" drifts. It lands on a different weekday each week, which a weekly alarm cannot follow.
  • Cycles have rest days. An alarm fires on day 6 of a 5-on, 2-off block, a rest day, all the same.
  • Twice a day means two alarms per compound. Three compounds later, you have a wall of alarms and no idea which you dismissed.
  • An alarm is not a record. Dismissing it does not tell you, next week, if you actually took the dose.

What a schedule app should handle

PatternWhat the app needs to do
Every N daysCount from the start date, not the weekday, so the reminder lands on the right day every time.
Every N hoursFire on the hour count, across midnight if needed.
Set weekdaysRemind on the days you chose, such as Monday and Thursday.
On/off cyclesStay silent on rest days and know which day of the block you are on.
Several times a daySeparate reminder times for the same compound, each loggable on its own.

The schedule itself should always come from you, your prescriber or your clinician. A good app follows it faithfully. It should never suggest one.

Reminder, log and diary in one

People search for a peptide reminder app, a log app or a diary app, but they are really the same job. The reminder prompts the dose, the log records it (or records that you skipped it), and the diary is simply the log plus notes, sites and side effects over time. Keeping them in one place means the reminder already knows what you logged, and the history is there when you need to check what happened three weeks ago.

What "best" should mean here

The best schedule app is the one you stop thinking about. Test any app against three things: does it get a non-weekly pattern right for a month, can you backdate a dose you forgot to log, and does it cope with a second compound without turning into clutter.

Log Dose, prefilled from your plan: amount, time and suggested site. The notification itself also offers Log dose, Snooze, Skip and Reschedule.

How PepLevel handles it

Each compound in PepLevel gets its own schedule: every day, every N days, repeating intervals, every N hours, weekly, specific weekdays or as needed. Turn on on/off cycles and enter the days on and off from your protocol, and reminders fire on dose days and stay quiet on rest days. Add more than one reminder time for the same compound if your schedule calls for it. The app only follows what you enter.

When a reminder arrives, act on it without opening the app: Log dose, Snooze 1 hour, Skip or Reschedule. Open it instead and Log Dose is prefilled with the planned amount, the time and a suggested injection site, linked to the vial or pen it came from. Backdate a dose you forgot, record a skip, add notes, or move one pending dose to another day without touching the rest of the schedule.

Today's This week grid starts at yesterday and runs six days ahead, one row per compound, with taken, scheduled, skipped, partial and unlogged doses each shown differently. If you lose your place in a cycle, correct today's position without rewriting your history. A widget can show the countdown and week grid on your home screen.

The free version schedules and logs one compound. Pro (£5.99 a month, £24.99 a year with a 7-day free trial, or £69.99 lifetime) adds unlimited compounds and custom reminders and follow-ups. Features never move from free to paid.

Common questions

Is there a free peptide schedule app?

Yes. PepLevel's free version gives one compound full scheduling, reminders and logging, and it stays free. Pro adds unlimited compounds for people running several at once.

Can a reminder app handle days on and days off?

PepLevel can. Set the days on and days off for that compound, counted from your start date, and reminders skip the rest days automatically.

Can I log a dose from the notification?

Yes. PepLevel reminders offer Log dose, Snooze 1 hour, Skip and Reschedule right on the notification, so the record is made without opening the app.
